Spent the day at a little lake, tried out some of the new flies I’ve been tying, my son caught his first fish;
We had luck with both the Blob, and a Caddis, all in all we came home with three decent fish, going on the bbq momentarily..

Congratulations. Nice looking trout.
Combat fishing salmon just started around here this weekend. The river banks are loaded with people chasing half dead fish. I’m done fishing until first ice.

over here your sposed to throw the fish back (unless your sea fishing)
kinda defeats the point of fishing for me... i mean...why bother if your not going to eat them...just seems cruel and pointless
